Painting Experiments - Heaven
This week i wanted to experiment with alternative backgrounds for my paintings. I wanted to create moody skies and atmospheric clouds in the pieces but I also wanted the pieces to be slightly abstract and different, this is what I came up with. The pieces were to accompany my moon paintings. While my work took a slightly different direction after painting these I thought it was important to show experimentation and playful ideas which lead to the final theme of death positivity, which I think in these pieces which I titled 'Heaven', it shows through. 
To move on from this experiment id have liked to print an ouija design over the top of the canvas, or to have collaged over the piece. However, I couldn't do this as I was due to go back to my flat in Salford and had limited space in the car on my journey back, so the pieces couldn't come with me,
